Happy Famous Artists

Our Manifesto is Our Warpath

Modern, Contemporary, Post, Alter.

Words that simply mean Now are irrelevant, we live a second from the future at all times. As such we always fight to emerge from what was and create what can be.

Strategy of Tension.

A strategy of tension must be maintained. Antagonism is our engine of creation, galleries, dealers and new distribution must be utilised and exploited. Blood brothers and sisters.

Art as Capital.

We solemnly pledge to deliver cultural product with enormous investment potential.

Cult of Personality.

We shall fulfil the demands of celebrity
and never shirk from exceeding our audiences’ expectations.

Leadership and Responsibility.

Art must take its rightful place as an economic force,
as Artists our status will be equal to that of CEO’s.
Economic power means cultural power
which we will wield without shame or apology.

Howgh!

  1. The best manifesto ever.

as Artists our status will be equal to that of CEO’s.
    Economic power means cultural power
which we will wield without shame or apology.

    Bravo.

  2. We live a second from the Future at all times.

    This is lovely.

  3. ELEGANT ARRAGANCE

  4. Humanity bows before you.

  5. always a dull moment, but f**k them all

  6. GREAT !!! ❤ ❤ ❤

  7. Yes. Very interested. Middle class embarrassment, and the fruitless, actually wasteful and ultimately anti-intellectual guilt of those granted educational opportunities combined with a merely modish anxiety to appear ‘street’ has fostered the unsustaining myth that happiness is a distraction from living a supposedly more authentic life of unhappiness.

  10. This manifesto should be read aloud in an approximation of the vocal tone used in the opening lines of “Ramblin’ Rose” by the MC5 on their first live album.

  11. how do we get to belong to your tribe? We also have delivered a manifesto in January 2011 called Manifeste des sensibles 1.0 ( in French) and it is not so far from yours.
